General information.

All of out products some in at least three colour combinations: 1) neutrals, 2) warm, 3) cold.

Most of our products are felted – they are soft and warm. Some of the jackets also have a lining – for the windy weather.

All of the models can be ordered in those colours that you can see on the photos. The letters after the item number indicate the colours. It is important to write us to correct item number.

All of the models can be ordered in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. See our size chart for more info. In case you need to order a bigger size or use other specific measurements, we will charge extra 4 EUR.

1. Ordering of the knitwear

  • Find the suitable goods
  • Find your size according to our size chart

  • Remember to write your postal address and phone number with your order.
  • You will receive an invoice from Kauni where you will find the product cost and the transport cost.

2. Payment. Transfer the invoice sum to Kauni´s bank account.

  • Your order will go to the production right after your payment has arrived to Kauni Groups bank account.
  • Bank account information is also seen on the invoice you will receive soon after your ordering.

3. Delivery
Your parcel is delivered by mail or you can pick it up at your local Post office. The normal delivery time is 2-3 weeks: our knitters make the product personally for you. Please note that our boxes are sent out from our production in Estonia.

4. Shipping costs
All of out goods are sent with Post toy the address you have given in your order. Shipping costs will be added to your invoice.

5. Production
Production of the goods takes place in Kauni´s knitting workshop in Estonia. All of our models are knit on handknitting machines personally for the customer after the payment is received. To keep the shipping costs as low as possible, we deliver directly from our workshop to the customer.

6. Prices
All prices include Estonian value-added tax 20%. The Estonian tax will be eliminated in case of sales outside the EU. Our prices are valid until the next catalogue comes out in August 2015. We take precondition for possible price and spelling mistakes.

7. Undelivered packages
In case the parcel is not picked up at the Post office in time, it will be sent back to us and we will pay you back the sum for the goods minus the transport costs.

8. Transport damages
We ask you to notify about the visible damages directly to your Post office.

9. Exchange of the goods

  • You may exchange all the products, which are bought from Kauni, within 14 days. The right to exchange the products starts from the day you receive them. In case you need a longer exchange right time, please contact us via email or phone before placing the order.
  • The returned item has to be in the same condition as when receiving it and returned safely in its original package so that it does not get damaged . Note: if you wish to exchange a product to one with another price, please contact us before sending it back.
  • In case of exchange and return all of the transport costs will be covered by you (both returning and new shipping).

10. Right of cancellation

  • You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days. The right to cancel the order starts from the day you receive it.
  • In case you decide to cancel your order, you will need to return the item(s) in the same condition as when receiving it.
  • If the product isn't returned in same condition, it will be determined discretionary below its selling price by Kauni.
  • Damages to the product in addition to the missing package can cause a situation where you will not receive a refund because the product can not be reselled.
  • When we have received the product, you will receive a total amount refund within few days (however without shipping costs and without bank service fee with the money transfer from us to the consumer).
  • To be able to use the right of cancellation, the item has to be delivered to our stock in Estonia 20 days after receiving.

  • We recommend you to send it as a parcel post from the post office. In that way the package can be tracked all the way until we receive it. However it is not possible to send us anything with disbursement.
  • In case of exchange and return you will have to pay for the transport costs.
  • The product should be returned safely in its original package. Missing original package will depreciate the products sale value and it will bring extra expenses to repack the product. Therefore you will be charged an amount in accordance with our particular expenses.
  • Damages to the product in addition to the missing package can cause a situation where you will not receive a refund because the product can not be reselled.

When you return the item, then please add he following info to your package:

  • Name, address, order number or invoice number (invoice copy)
  • Information about your bank account – reg,number and account number
  • The relevant information about refunding or exchanging the product
  • When we have received the product, you will receive a total amount refund within 12-14 days (however without shipping costs and without bank service fee with the money transfer from us to the consumer).

Products which will be sent by disbursement or without a post-fee will not be accepted by Kauni. If you have any questions about returning of products you can turn to our customer service.

11. Complaints

  • If you have any complaints about our knitwear, you can send it back to us. You have the right to make a complaint within 6 months after you have received your products, so look after your invoice. Complaint includes only hidden defects. If the product has visible defects, the complaint should be fulfilled within 2 months after you have received the product. Overall wearing, extreme treatment or incorrect use, treatment or washing will not be considered as a complaint. If you receive a product that is damaged during the transport, you should return the damaged package with the product and you should submit a claim to the post office about the delivery. If your product breaks before the complaint term has expired, we will do our best to fix the product.
  • Remember to add a copy of the invoice you received with the products and add also a detailed description of the conditions which are important for the complaint. Service time is normally 2-3 weeks after we have received the product.
  • In case of complaints we will refund you the transport cost.
  • Products can be returned only after foregoing agreement with Kauni.
